In the fall of 2007 Ronnie and I learned of a Christian Hosting program, New Horizons for Children. Through this program children who are in orphanges in Russia and Latvia are able to come and spend time with an American family. We were considering doing this in the summer of 2008. Little did we know that God had a different plan.
In November 2007, 2 weeks before the Children who were being hosting during the Christmas time we learn of a 15 year old boy from Latvia who had been mixed up with another child. He had been told he was coming and a plane ticket had been purchased for him but they had no hosting family for him. Ronnie and I discussed the possibliltiy of hosting him. After praying about it we called to see if he was still available and found out that he was. So with 2 weeks to prepare we start this wonderful journey God has planned for us.

- Ronnie and I have been married for 31 years. We have 2 grown children. Jessi (28) who is married to Brian ( we also claim Brian as one of our children). Brian and Jessi have a precious son, Maddox, who is the best granchild ever. Mark (25) is in his last of school for Gaming and Computer Programing. Mark still lives at home but between school and work we don't get to see him too much. Ronnie and I are very active in our church. We enjoying spending time with our family and friends.
